IT WAS AWESOME…. :)

I mean it…. Everyday you don’t get a chance to Test drive your dream/mean machines... that too in a single day. That too the very known Ford fiesta 1.4 litre Duratorq diesel and Swift Dezire diesel. If you are a busy Software engineer, who gets a very little time to spend with the family, it does mean really a lot if you spend your weekends on waiting for Test drives. Waiting... For me……. Naa….Its not my job….. that’s why it became a jolly ride for me…. It has been the best Saturday (Vitla Pindi day) in my life yet. Test driving the mean machines being in the driver seat with a pinch of luck (not waiting for hours)... WOW!! I was waiting to hit the Mangalore (Karnataka) roads, that too the Newly constructed four-lanes... It was today.......That too with the mean machines i had ever dreamt of......(of course within my budget...)

Being in the driver seat of ford fiesta with the advanced 1.4 litre Duratorq Diesel engine, when it pushes you with 1399cc displacement, believe me you become speechless….. The engine is bloody refined and from inside it doesn’t seem like a diesel. The gearbox is also fabulous. Its very precise but the clutch is a bit hard…. AWESOME…

Now about Dzire…. Dzire comes in 1300cc Multijet diesel same as that in Swift. It’s an award winning engine which uses technology from FIAT. The sedan is a replica of the hatchback with a boot attached along. The chunky C-pillar is moved towards the back and rear quarter glass has grown in size. It has got extended rear doors and hence the seats are pushed to the back to give more legroom for the rear passengers. Front seats are comfy and very supportive… AWESOME..

Finally… WTH... NOW I am confused (as always … ;) )

Which one..??? Anybody there…? Please help me out… ;)
